Suggestion Implemented Number of participants in Round Robin

Hello,

Can I ask why the number of participants in Round Robin is limited to the same number as the knockout league?

Round Robin should be any number greater than 3 and the number of participants required shouldn't have to increase exponentially.

I listed this as support and not a bug as I think it was designed like this, however, I do think it should be changed as it is a little silly to be so restrictive with the number of round robin participants.

Is there a specific file I can edit for the time being which allow me to use any number greater than 3 just for round robin?

But even if Round Robin is selected, users are still limited to the same number of max participants as the single elimination.


I feel it should be any number greater than 3.

Ahhhh you meant for the limitation upon creation ?

That's as design, you would maybe have to edit the templates to have that but there are maybe side effects.

In fact it must be a power of 2 to have always match for every user at each round, the js is not meant to work if not in that way.

Yes, even it just be an even number, of course, but it doesn't need to increase exponentially in round robin.

It just places an unnecessary limit on the tournaments and the number of players we can have participate.

I'd appreciate greatly if you can fix that it. Thank you.
