You were right. For some reason simply disabling the sidebar addon I wasn't using anymore didn't work, but now I just uninstalled it completely and now the countdown is where it should be. Thanks for the help!

How would I do that? I know the sidebar is in the forum_list template, right? I can't find anything regarding the countdown in that.

@MtoR I also have this question. Do I need widget framework to change the order? Right now the countdown is at the very bottom of the sidebar.

I see the "Install Roster Compatibility" but that says it's already installed. I don't see a way to enable it per se anywhere.

I got Roster to work with Tournament but I can't see an option to add teams to a tournament. Only users. Am I missing something?

Yes, the one that's up on my site can be used. The tournament system is only visible to Admins atm, so don't worry about messing anything up. One solution you could use is to give the bye matches a separate class or id (.bye or #bye), so then users could then opt to hide them or not by putting...

I've added the participants I want, but the bracket generated isn't correct. It shows a bunch of "null" slots, making the tournament bigger than what I want, and I can't remove them. It's an uneven number of participants, but shouldn't it give a bye to one person? Maybe I'm doing something...

That was it! Had to change the xfa folder to 755 and apply to all enclosed folders and files as well. Cleared the cache of my browser after that and everything appears to be working. Thanks!

They are there. Is there a certain permission setting they need to have?
