Refused Feature suggestions

Hey guys. First of all great work on porting over tournaments for XF2 and thanks for the support. I have some suggestions which I hope you guys would implement in the future.

  1. Member submit and confirm results. Alerts sent when a member submits a results and also when a member confirms a result. This is on all tournament formats.
  2. Submit win/loss instead of scores. Rather than inserting a result admins would be able to progress a member to the next round without inserting a results. Some tournament we run such as a golf matchplay would need this.
Finally please please please think about adding a King of the Hill format to this mod. King of the hill is a winner stay on competition. A king is assigned to the hill. Members then sign up and they are added to a list. Each member in turn (order of sign up so if I was first to sign up I would challenge the king first) plays the king in a game. If the king wins he stays on and plays the next on the list. If the challenger wins he becomes king and then plays the next member on the list.

The king of the hill page would show the current king and his current run (how many wins) plus a challenge button for members to add themselves to the list. A tab would also be there for recent results for the hill.

I got loads of other ideas on how you could make this mod even better as Xenforo really lacks a competition mod. I have come from vBulletin and we had a fantastic mod built by bananalive called ladders and tournaments. See below:

It was one of the reasons that kept me on vB until I saw your tournament mod. If you could think about that ladder system which is much more complex you would be onto a winner. I for one would pay towards having it developed.

Hello,

Please only post one suggestion per thread.
We use thread to track features to add.

So I am sorry but I am setting this thread as refused.
