Suggestion No Answer First impression

Finally i had enough users to start my first tournament five minutes ago.
I like the easy way to go on and choose random pairships. (And i have influence not to bringt the wrong persons against each other at the beginning.

BUT:
Back to the first page, the Tournaments are sorted by free places, so i see nothing, because we have only one tournament now and it is full.

1. I want to see the tournament with ZERO free slots also! (
2. If there is no enddate for joining, but a tournament is startet, it should show: End of joining : Started or something like this.
3. You program the plus and minus by adding/subtract one. Maybe short count(*) would be better (especially if someone fills the list with phpMyAdmin to test it. (one more line ...)
4. There is no alert to the players that the tournament´s join is finished, that the tournament has started ... why not?

5. The text in the two phrases i have seen till now are wrong for me; the title is not linked correctly.

6. What means "unvalidate matches"?
It should be "unvalidated matches?" or validate (after entering scores)? or to correct wrong scores?

7. We should have the pairs to the post also. I have copied them and changed to

user 1 vs user2
user 3 vs user 4

Yes, i can make this, but it makes no fun to do it. If we do a post we should post this also, i think.
Now i think about to make a poll and let the users vote for the players (we have no real game behind it, we just test what is possible with this addon in real life)

I have done a poll, it takes me time and is only possible for a small number. I think you should have this option als: make a poll for the first round!

And i think this should be at another page, not in the thread, but i will test how it goes.
After the first round i have to kill the poll or delete answers (users)

I am going to answer you but I won't be able to take into account something with many suggestions.
Our rule is one thread = one suggestion otherwise it's too hard to follow-up.
So I'll let you create threads for suggestions that really have an interest.

There are filters to view all.

Well, in fact even if the registration date is passed, for tournament without registration date it could not be started (due to missing participants).

So I guess perhaps adding a flag to show that a tournament is started for both ones with and without registration end date could be nice.
You can create a suggestion for that one.

There are alters that the tournament has started.

Which phrases ? Which title ?

No, it's an action. When you unvalidate matches, it's reseting the tournament to before the creation of the matches.

I didn't understand anything about that last part. If your request is to have a poll for each match, then no this is not something I'm planning to implement, I doubt that many would be interested in such feature.

I have added users in phpmyadmin to test, then the calculation of Slots is not done.


Alerts should go for everything to the players, i think. Remember them to come to the page!

I like the idea to tell the users who is in and out every round in the thread. Doing by hand means hard work. Thats all.

No otherwise it's not filters.
But I could make an option to select which filter should be on by default.
If you like that idea, please open a suggestion thread for that.

Have you checked if there were alerts ? Coz there is when tournament start, or scores are updated or winner.
