Suggestion Hide purchase button for usergroup

How can I hide the purchase button for specific user groups?
Some user groups are allowed to download resource for free, they see both button, purchase and download. Is confusing them

I managed with css, but if the user can dl for free it doesn't make sense to see the purchase button. It confuses the users

Well one could want to buy for a friend if that feature is acgtive
