Bug Cannot Reproduce Incorrect Price Shown in Purchase Tab When Coupon Is Used

When a coupon is used, the "Purchases" tab on the individual resource page displays the original price instead of the actual paid amount.


Example:
A user applied a fixed $7.99 discount coupon to a plugin priced at $12.99, which correctly resulted in a $5.00 payment.

• The Dashboard correctly shows:
  Mikel Rae – 5.00 USD
  
  
  
  
• But the Purchases tab on the resource page incorrectly shows:
  Mikel Rae – 12.99 USD

I just tried and I am not able to reproduce that.
The price is correct on the purchases tab and the dashboard.

Plus on your screenshot the order details is showing a different price while it should show the 5 USD.

Was there anything particular with that purchase ?

The resource costs $12.99, and the user applied a "Fixed amount" coupon worth $7.99

• On the Purchases tab of the resource page, it incorrectly shows $12.99
• On the Dashboard, it correctly shows $5.00 (after the discount)

It’s worth mentioning that I deleted the coupon after the purchase (thus the coupon name field shows as empty) That might be the issue?

Personally I prefer not keeping unused or expired coupons around, so ideally the addon should store the coupon info per purchase rather than referencing the current state?


While we’re at it, it would also be a nice improvement if the Purchases tab on the resource page could show whether a coupon was used, and possibly which one

That's what I tried yesterday and it works just fine.

Deleting the coupon has no impact except the fact that the coupon info is gone, that's why it's showing nothing after "coupon:".

I think I applied the changes I gave you in the development version so that would have no impact.

Well let me know if that happens again, right now I do have a test that worked and in both locations it's shown correctly with the discount.
