Suggestion Implemented let specific users within specific usergroup create tabs (even if that user did not start the thread)

Hi guys

This may be a stupid question but I am rather new to xenForo, so please forgive me.

I installed the core add-on and then Thread Tabs.
After that I activated Thread Tabs in setting,gave permissions to usergroups and activated for the appropriate forum node. But I can still not see the function to create a new tab.

Is there any documentation for completely new users?

I think I got it running. Is it true, that not even an admin can add tabs to an existing thread. Thats actually what I would need...

Ah I guess it's only possible to edit any tabs but not create any tab to any thread, is that what you meant ?

Yes exactly. I am starting a board where many different users will start threads and there will be very similar threads across the forum. But I can not expect from every user to link these threads correctly.

Do you think it is possible, that also admins (a certain usergroup respectively) can create tabs altought they did not start the thread?

Well right now it's not possible but it's feasible, I would need to add a permission for that and some code to check it.

I have checked but I am sorry I mislead you there already was a permission to create tab in any thread.
