Support No Answer Media ownership changed

At the end of a contest when the media is awarded (in my case) BOTM ribbon the ownership of the media changes from the poster to webmaster in all the images.

Also the watermark has been removed from all previous submissions.

Yes for those 3 I had a test run with the user having 3 votes and the run you suggested worked.
However it still shows now the picture ownership is Webmaster and not the original member who posted it. It also removed all the watermarks in that folder. I think I understand what is happening. When a winner is announced the picture is re posted by the Webmaster and the watermark is removed. ????

Yes, look at picture I posted above.
In the picture below you can see it is owned by the poster before being voted on.

Yes it still shows the 'Webmaster' as the poster of the picture so the original poster is no longer associated with it.
The icon and the name of the poster changes to the 'Webmaster'

What happens to the pictures that have been winners of a contest if and when the program is uninstalled?
Do they revert back to their original state ie: original posters name, MOTM banner removed? Do they get removed from the category folder they were in? Are they deleted from the system?

But because the winners name is changed from original poster to Webmaster, the banner is placed on the Webmasters avatar and not the real winner.

Also the Webmaster is notified that he is the winner and the original poster of the picture receives no recognition or notice of winning.
How do I fix this so the names (owner of the picture) is not changed and the MOTM banner is placed on the original posters avatar?

It's not normal in fact.
It shouldn't behave like that.

Looked into the code but don't see something that would lead to that.
Will have to investigate.

Uninstall just remove status but not the images.

Ok so I tried to reproduce and I am totally unable to reproduce your bug.
For me the add-on should be working as intended, not as you observed it.

Do you have any particular add-on installed related to the media gallery ?

Would it be possible to get access to your admincp/ftp to try to debug and find the reason why you are having that particular issue ?

Unfortunately no, our association in run by a council and would require their approval. They have not approved such request in the past sighting members privacy issues.

The problem is that I can't reproduce your bug.

SO this problem continues. Media is being assigned and ownership is changed to the Webmaster once a contest has ended.
The announcement of a winner is also being awarded to the Webmaster

This month, thanks to your votes, @webmaster media has been awarded Bike Of The Month 8/2016.

The identity of the original media owner is being stripped from the media and replaced with the Webmaster in all instances of this program.
You need to fix this or it is totally useless in awarding anyone a prize for winning if the owner cannot be identified in the media or the announcement.

1. Members avatar has been replaced with the Webmasters avatar
2. Postbit on right shows the ownership is not the members but has now changed to the Webmaster
3. There used to be a Watermark here and it has been removed from the picture on the media page when contest closed.
