Problem with that is Default xenForo "spammer" designation does not appear to be a user group

You can use "Batch Update Users" and only find user who have banned state
And after you will can update their group i think

ok i batch updated the banned user and placed them in my AWOL group and set the AWOL group not to show on the map but they are still there...

When clicking pin on banned users card it just loads the map home page so to answer your question it appears to of removed there pin but the data is still there in the stats and user card and profile
