Support Resolved New Thread after document has been posted

Hi,
Once a document has been posted but without selecting create a thread, is it then possible to edit the document and create a new thread afterwards?
If not then I assume it would need deleting and redoing with create a thread option selected, is that right?

Hi,

No you would have to create your own thread and go edit the database to change some fields to that new entry.

Okay thank you. I will look at the tables and see how I can link the forum thread to the document. Will this then create the 'discussion' tab too?
If not I think I will just repost the document.

Yes.

You would have to edit the xfa_dm_document table to add the thread id to the document and then in the thread to change it to be flagged as being a document one.
