@MtoR I also have this question. Do I need widget framework to change the order? Right now the countdown is at the very bottom of the sidebar.

Well the widget framework will definitely let you order them yes for sure.
Basically I am plugging into the sidebar so it always depends if others are plugging as well into it.
One solution might be to change the priority of the template modification linked to the sidebar so that it runs last.

How would I do that? I know the sidebar is in the forum_list template, right? I can't find anything regarding the countdown in that.

Hum are you sure ? I don't have the code there so hard to tell.

Could you please post a screenshot of the countdown template modifications ?

I don't understand what you mean. I didn't modify anything. I installed the add-on and added a countdown, that's it.

Ok basically I checked the code, the way it is coded, it's meant to be after the forum stats.

So the only way, without widget framework, to move it would be to change the template modification (only possible with debug mode active) in order for the search part of the template modification to be upper in the sidebar.

But if you don't know how do that then perhaps the best solution would be to use widget framework.

If you do, then I might give you a hint on the data to put in search depending where you want it located.

I can probably figure it out if you give me some hints. I want it to show under the User info area (not sure what the technical term for it is)

Then you would have to put :
<xen:hook name="forum_list_sidebar">

In the template modifications search box.
Beware of the spaces so that they are the same than in the forum_list template.

Sorry for the super late response. I did what you said, but it didn't change anything. Do I need to clear a template cache or something? It doesn't say there are any outdated templates, but I'm not sure.

And you are not using any add-on to handle the sidebar ?

Coz without any add-on it should have done it.

You were right. For some reason simply disabling the sidebar addon I wasn't using anymore didn't work, but now I just uninstalled it completely and now the countdown is where it should be. Thanks for the help!
