Suggestion Fixed Refresh Post/Thread

So on push like or reply you must refresh post/thread to see attachment. any way without refresh possible =?

Not usable for me without this feature, maybe some refund ?

We don’t provide any refund unless if bug can’t be fixed. In this case is not a bug so we can’t provide refund sorry.

Hey I see in the updates, that you've now added refresh on 'Like' (experimental).


I'm wondering how to enable this function?

Also, I've just installed this add-on and tbh I think it isn't working correctly.

The issues I've noticed are:

(a) No automatic refresh on 'Like'.

(b) The - 'You must like or reply to view this attachment' - notification either doesn't appear at all -or does appear, but has a duplicate of the same notification below it.

Does this notification only appear for posts with at least 1 attachment?

And does the notification appear for each individual attachment on a post?
(*¿eg: so a post with 10 attachments would have 10 notifications?)

Do these notifications not apply when the attachments are images that have been added into the post?

Sorry, I should probably provide a description of how I'm specifically intending to use this add-on.

Basically another forum asked me to host a long time member who they were no longer able to host.

The particular member has a hobby of posting a great deal of porn images and also has a surprising number of loyal followers.

I do not run a porn forum, I run a free speech forum, however I'm not going to stand in these guys way because that would be hypocritical of me. So I've set them up a private subcategory forum only they can access & view.

Unfortunately these 50+ members only ever login to perv at/download porn images and don't bother doing anything else, not even reacting to posts, and so far they have simply ignored all my attempts at communication. And I mean, I'm not running a pervert charity & do not tolerate lurkers either so I expect at least some basic degree of interactivity by all members.

I've already tried several passive options to encourage these members voluntary interaction—but without any success yet.

Thus, since they ignore passive encouragement, therefore I've little options available other than to try forcefully encouraging them and this 'Like/reply to view attachments' add-on seems to be a potential solution.

Refresh on Like is Experimental and may can't work.

Notification appear when you have 1 or more attachments . You see 1 notification per attachment (if my memories are good)

Honnestly i don't remember if images added into the post are masked or not, but i prefer to tell you no.

Ahh, I see. Thank you for the update.

And as far as I can see, it does appear the images do get masked—although I have removed all the file types from the 'Excluded' field in settings.

So it's basically working fine.
