Suggestion Implemented The ability to showcase 3 icons next to your name.

Would it be possible to add a feature where members can place more than one icon next to their name? I had an Add-on developed for x1 where we allowed the members to showcase up to 3 icons next to their name. This gave our community members the ability to showcase more than one skill set etc. So If they wanted site members to see that they were a baker, soccer coach and acquired the verification icon for their account, they could show all 3 icons. We also gave them the ability to select the order in which the icons would show up as. We Also had it where members could purchase which icons they wanted to use on the site. It was a cool add-on, but the developer is not around anymore, and your add-on is the closest thing to what I used to have. Would be amazing if you could see about implementing some of this stuff. Thank you!

sure that is understandable.
The way the developer did it for my site, was by letting me upload png images for the icons. Then he gave me the function to resize the images and made sure each image would have a space in between them so everything didn't bunch up. It was a really cool add-on that really helped my forum. No matter where members' username was shown on the site, the 3 icons were next to their name. Icons had Tooltips so when you hovered the mouse over it, it would let you know what that person was trying to promote. I was able to upload the images, and put the tooltip setting on the back end. Then site members would go to my store page and purchase the icons they wanted for 99 cents. They were able to purchase as many icons as they wanted, and the icons would show up on their user profile pages in a tab next to

This way they could show off the icons they purchased. He did this by putting the icons apart of the trophy system. This was also where he put a check box next to the Icons so the members can select which 3 icons they were using at that time. Also, put an Order of used option, so if they wanted to buy CEO from the store, all they have to do was order the letter C as number 1 and letter E as 2, and letter O as 3. So next to their username were 3 png images that read CEO. It was such a cool add-on but sadly it was developed for xenforo one right before they said they were going to x2. I wasted a ton of money and was heartbroken and sooooo upset. I actually gave up and took the loss. But I'm trying to make a comeback if I can.

So no pressure on any level from me, just trying to see if things are possible and if they are not I'm totally fine with that as well. I've learned to just go with the flow now. Thank you for even considering cause that means a lot. & I mean a lot!

I found an old screenshot of the icons next to my username First Icon was the Verified Icon, the 2nd was an icon for all premium members, and the third was a C for Ceo.
All Png images with the option to choose the order for each icon. If I only wanted to use 2 icons I could just use 2 and choose which one displayed first and which 2nd. Loved this add-on, because members got a dope png image next to their names, and were able to show off what they wanted to promote themselves as.

See how we showcased the verified icons on our splash page.
We would upload the icon and award users the icon if they were a part of a user group.
So the icons worked with the awards/trophy system

Yeah gotcha.
However if I was implementing something you would not have stuff based on usergroup or thing like that, just the capability to pick icons.
I'll need to check but that might only work with font awesome.

Heyyyyyyy wanted to add another suggestion.
Can you add the ability to add a tooltips option?
so when members hover over the icon the user can provide a description of it.


If their was an tool tips option, I could Put (Verified) for the check mark.

I put the check next to my name but would be amazing to give it that tooltips hover effect. Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee. Also if we are able to use 3 font awesome icons next to our names, would be simply amazing as well. I am really loving this add-on

Is there a specific reason behind you wanting me to create a new suggestion because you did not give one?
Also, you did not respond to what a wrote, which can come off a tad bit rude, and rubbed me the wrong way. Honesty is the best policy and I keep it honest when I speak to people. I can create a new suggestion, but it is also making me do an extra step when the information has been provided.

As you can see each suggestion has a title and allows us to track feature requests.
We can't follow-up feature requests when multiple things are requested inside a single thread, it's kinda hard to follow.

I didn't answer because I don't analyse feature requests feasibility right away.

Ok so being able to track is a legit reason to start a new suggestion.

Side Note: I added to this suggestion cause it the same add-on and didn’t know how y’all preferred us to post. But moving forward I have a clear understanding now.
