Tournament port to xF2 started

Dear customers and fellow visitors !

We just wanted to let you know that we have started working on Tournament port to xF2.

The expected feature are going to be in a first step more or less the same than the xF1 version, with some adaptations to cope with xF2 new features.

We'll be posting some messages on the way to let you know our progress, we are currently working on the admin part.

One of the first enhancement we introduced is the capability to now create child categories as well as set permissions per category similarly to how categories behave in xF2.

That's something I'll most certainly consider at some point yes but not in the near future, upgrade is the first step

Nice. This will finish off my site nicely. At the moment we are having to use third party which im not keen on. Id rather it be built in

Almost all actions from inside a tournament are done, the following will remain once this is done:

• Handling of categories and index Done
• Automatic cron task for bracket generation Done
• Alerts Done
• My tournaments page Done
• Participated tournaments page Done
• Tab in thread Done
• Show tournaments in user profile Done
• Show tournaments in roster Done
• Widgets Done
• Activity Done
• Some more tests

I might call for beta testers soon to help me figuring out the potential remaining bugs.
