Suggestion Tournament & Roster Ticker?

I think it would be great if we could have some sort of ticker for the forum index page and sub pages if the tournament and roster section could have a ticker giving news on whats happening.

Like tournament sign ups.
New signings to a roster.
Latest match results from chosen tournaments.
(custom tickers for when a transfer rumour happens for example)

This could be limitless but hopefully you guys get the general idea.

This is not a bad idea, but this is rather complicated to implement as for example regarding the match results thing it's possible to set multiple results at once.

But I am keeping that in mind, can't promise if I'll implement it though.

This was request on our xF1 version, I moved the thread to the xF2 section but never came to put that on my todo list because it's complicated to implement technically.

Shame that you are marking most feature suggestions as "too complicated". I would definitely pay more for XFA Tournaments addon if it had more features. (or the renewal rate per year for updates could be a bit higher).

The IPS Tournament addon (includes ladders and all team functions, no need for separate addons) sells for 65 USD, and it's absolutely packed with features.

Increase in our products price is not an option as people tends to be pissed off by it.
As I said in my earlier answer to this request, the only things I could ticker about would be sign ups.
However, match results is not something I can implement unless I rewrite all the code and it's totally out of question.

Yes you get teams, but ladder part of the addon is missing.
Also I posted two small suggestions of it (logos and featured tournament) in another thread, which should be much easier additions at least =)
