Users can't see the check in feature? How to use this feature because matches can't be generated as it says


"At least 2 users are required for a single elimination tournament"

When I disable check in system, then I can generate matches or else it says that and users end they don't see any way to use the check-in feature. How do they check in? They're registered for tournament and in participant list but don't see any additional button for check in?

The checkin button is supposed to appear X min prior to the end of registration.

You had that error because you most certainly did not have enough user that had checked in.

No we did. The participant list was full. If that's the case I think it may be due to it was a roster tournament? Because it was a roster only tournament, not solo. But it could be due to to the X min prior as you mentioned.

So if I get it right, if it was 60 minutes prior to end, then the button would only be up 60 minutes before the registration closes? So it does not matter even if participant list is full?
 
No, the participant list has nothing to do we the fact that they checked-in.

Check-in is an action they need to do prior to the registration end.

Yes that's right you understood correctly.

It's a feature, which can be disabled through options, which allows to ensure user are indeed online when the tournament start.
Up to you to see if you want that or not.
